Chris Amado
Delta Projects very own Christopher Amado has been selected to receive the ANCOR 2019 Massachusetts Direct Support Professional Recognition of the Year Award!

Chris was selected for recognition from hundreds of nominations, and this award serves as a testament to the work done by  Christopher and Delta Projects to support individuals in the community.

The 2019 DSP of the Year Recognition Awards presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at ANCORS national conference in Portland, Oregon.

Awarded annually since 2007, ANCOR’s Direct Support Professional of the Year awards recognize outstanding professionals who provide long-term supports and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The awards and the accompanying presentation at ANCOR’s Annual Conference were created to celebrate the important role Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play in ensuring individuals with I/DD can be included and empowered in their communities, and to raise awareness about a direct support workforce in crisis.

Innovation and Creativity Award

The Association for Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP) has chosen Delta Projects Office Connections program to receive an Innovation and Creativity Award.

Carley Andrews and Colleen Ponte, creators/administrators of the program received the award May 9, 2019, at the 2019 LEAD! Conference and Expo.

The Office Connections program pairs administrative staff with each of Delta’s homes with the office “connector” serving as an additional link between the people we support and the agency. This award recognizes the quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and creativity of the program.
