Position Summary:
As the Strategic Projects Manager, you’ll support a number of projects at the center of our strategic endeavors. From organizing systems implementations and providing systems support, to facilitating data collection and reporting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Delta Projects. This is not just a job; it’s a chance to work directly with our CEO, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Essential Functions:
- Project Leadership: Help to lead and oversee a diverse range of strategic projects, including systems implementations, process improvements, and reporting initiatives.
- Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery of key milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional efforts on critical initiatives and special projects, ensuring seamless coordination among teams.
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the CEO monitor strategic goals and objectives, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and enhance project efficiency.
- Documentation and Communication: Track and manage meeting minutes, action items, and project deliverables. Ensure clear communication and documentation of project progress.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks crucial for the successful execution of projects, contributing to overall project effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Training: Develop and present training materials for new system implementation, contributing to end-user proficiency.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot end-user issues, working collaboratively with the appropriate team members to resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk, and timelines.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of organizational policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong project management, analytical, and problem solving skills
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Applications
· Proficiency with data management and report generation
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
