JOB TITLE: Senior Instructor
Senior Instructors are a critical element of the Delta's residential
support system. They work directly with Instructors to assure that the
supports identified by the consumers, family members and the Coordinator
at implemented in the desired fashion. They generally work in one home
at which a total of 2 to four consumers live. They are responsible for
assisting the Coordinator in planning, scheduling and activities at each
home. They also are responsible for assisting the Coordinator with the
Individual Support Plan (ISP) process - developing assessments, attending
ISP meetings, developing follow-up documentation and monitoring the implementation
of ISP related instructions and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of Instructor - Residential.
- Assist Coordinator in conducting staff interviews, orientation and
training sessions.
- Assist Coordinator in ensuring upkeep of property.
- On- call responsibilities in Coordinator's absence.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED BY: Coordinator - Residential
QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year experience in the
use of Behavioral Techniques.
Experience in data collection. Possess good organization skills and personal
qualifications to enable one to function effectively in such programs
and to carry out the above responsibilities. Physically and emotionally
able to meet the requirements of the above responsibilities.
