Delta Projects has provided employment supports since 1990 and has successfully supported individuals with behavioral challenges for over 20 years. The individuals in the program benefit from staff supports at an intensive ratio to allow them to be actively and safely engaged in a variety of employment related activities.
Supported Employment provides individuals with:
- Skill Assessment
- Job Procurement and placement
- Training in Specific job tasks
- General work practices and skills
- On-Site job supervision
An important part of providing employment supports to individuals involves coordinating work routines with other aspects of the individual’s life. Delta Projects ensures the provision of ancillary supports and relies on the use of community-based supports that consist of locally based physicians, psychiatrists, mental health centers and legal services.
Delta Project's success and expertise in the provision of employment supports is demonstrated by individuals who have been supported by this program and their successes in skill development, socialization and job retention.
