NOTICES TO EMPLOYEES

We have been advised by the National Labor Relations Board that a union, Local 509 of the Service Employees International Union, has filed a petition at the NLRB to seek to represent the employees at Delta Projects.  In late February, the NLRB will hold a secret ballot election at Delta Projects facilities so you can vote in private and decide if you want the union to represent you.  You can vote against union representation even if you signed a union card or if the union chose not to contact you at all.  We encourage every eligible employee to vote.  A meeting was held on Monday, January 25 at the NLRB’s offices in Boston to determine who is eligible to vote in the election.  We will keep you updated.

Your vote in the election will be the most important decision you make as an employee here. Over the next six weeks, we will provide you with factual information about the union and about what union representation here at Delta Projects could mean for you and your families.  We consider it part of our responsibility to give you information you may not get elsewhere so you can make the best decision you can for you and your families.  We encourage you to consider all the information you can and to ask questions and demand clear, direct answers.

All we ask of you is that you keep an open mind and consider the information presented.  We are confident that after you do so, you will decide that the union is unnecessary here.

If you have any questions, please speak with Kathy McNeil at the Dedham Office.
